Today at around 10:50pm my two kids, friend, brother and I went into the store in Moreno Valley to purchase some personal items and my brother and friend wanted to buy some beer and two whiskey bottles for a Xmas party tomorrow. Im a big support for local stores.

First time going to winco and I was so excited cause ive heard the store was awesome. I am a costco member and couldve gone there but still wanted to check out the store. As we approached the register the line was long and we were very patient. We stood in the line for about 15 min.

As our turn approach I went to the front with my son and daughter to wait for my friend and brother pay for the items. The lady at the register I think her name was Tristan asked for everyones Id that was in the group. I went up to the register and asked her " why are you carding me if im not purchasing alcohol?" She said "because you came together". So then I said you want to Id my kids as well?

And she said she would not sell us the alcohol. Remind you im no longer in the line but in the open aisle to exit. She made a face and I asked to speak with the manager . Ruben the "manager" came and asked "whats the problem ?" and she still said the same thing, that she couldnt sell them the alcohol because we all did not have an id.

He had no issue selling my brother the alcohol. But then as my friend came to purchase his beer he shows them his id from out of the country and the manager said "unfortunatley its not a state id i cannot sell you the alcohol". But my brother had an out of state id. My friend came to visit for the holidays and basically was being discriminated because he didnt have a state id.

At that point it was frustrating, so my brother tried to purchase the beer and they said no. It was so upsetting ,we went in as a family to purchase other items as well. So at that point i walked outside to get my id came back and gave it to them and the manager refused to accept my id quote my id is a valid california drivers license. Ive never been carded being a companion of someone as far as i know you show id if your purchasing and aside of that the manager told me to look up the law that everyone in the party had to be id.

Never heard of that. And never heard that you have to have a state id to purchase. So much for a great experience for the first time. Our purchase was a total of $95 items included dedorant razors shampoo energy drinks two cases of beer and two whiskey bottles.

My brother is a regular customer of the eastvale location and spoke highly of the the company so we decided to try it out. But instead greatly humilated in front of other customers. I told Ruben they should have a sign underneath the one already posted about legal age for purchasing alcohol, that you cannot purchase alcohol if you dont have a state Id as well as making sure everyone in your group has an Id. He said we should look up the law that they dont need to put up signs about what kind of id is needed.

We were in Pjs its not like we were going to a party.

I ended up returning the items and taking our business some where else. Thats the first and last time.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

For all you *** who did not read right. I did present my valid california id and so did my brother.

She id all of us even though i was not inline nor the one purchasing the alcohol I know the law. And it clearly states that you will have to show proof of age if you buy alcohol. But i wasnt buting alcohol! I was waiting for my brother to by his peroso al items and what ever he needed for his christmas party!

Where the *** did we need to stop reproducing and raise my kids rigjt! Not once did we dispespwct we ask why did we all have to be id if we werent all purchasing alcohol.

This is why the world is all messed up! Everyone throws in stupid *** that doesnt apply to what happened.

This reviewer is so full of *** This sounds like something similar too what happened too me while i was working. While i was working at registers, scanning and bagging people's items. A group of teens came inside. They were 18 of age.

I know this because i ringed up their cigarettes and id them for it. I was ringing up their other items into their carts. They were buying sodas into cases. While i was trying too ring up the sodas.

I noticed the soda cans were ripped. It looks someone took them out and put something inside of them. I said, nice and sweet, "Do you want another case?" "It looks like it is ripped." One of the teens said rude and arrogantly, "No, we are into an hurry, you..." The other teen said rude and arrogant, "We need too leave, let's go, you..." While i was picking it up, i saw what was inside of it. It was beer cans.

They switched the cans of sodas with beers. It was the bait and switch trick. Before i am able too say anything too these teens, and confront them for what they did. This happened.

The male and female customer said, rude and arrogantly "Duh. That's what we want." "Well, that's what we are going too pay for and that's what we are going too leave with." I am like, "Oh Really?" "You think I am dumb?" This couple have the nerve too say, "Well You're not dumb. You're just an... And you're just acting like an..." I am not going too say what these teens said.

It was so mean and nasty I am always calm and collected. But when i am feed up, i am feed up. I am like, "Okay. Now, you're able too leave." These teens were so rude and arrogant.

What they did was so uncalled for. These teens picked up the soda can cases, while trying too steal the beer. I grabbed the cases and said, "Bye-Bye. You're not going too get served." "And if you're going too come back too the store, you're going too be wishing you are not an punching bag.

These teens said, "Excuse us?" I was walking from one side of the other side too the register and said, "I am not playing." These teens did not return. Or so we had thought. We had this teens return with fake ids proving that they are lying and fabricating about their age. The store manager could tell they were full of *** because we told the store manager that everything that had happen with these teens.

We had too call the cops. These teens were refusing too leave. These teens were protesting by causing havoc into the store, knocking the things off the shelves.

The other store manager confronted and headlocked them, so they would not escape. The cops came and arrested them.

I had an customer get mad and angry at me because i am not manager and because i am not an cashier. I am an bagger.This customer demanded me too give an refund or that I would be getting an call from the corporate, and telling the manager that i was not servicing the customer and call corporate. This customer was stuck onto stupid. I am always able too be nice and sweet and helpful too the customers and too the employees.

And this what i was doing this whole time. This customer was mean and nasty this whole time.

The manager saw and heard everything. This manager kicked out this customer for causing an scene.

So you tried to do a third party sale on federally regulated items and they are the bad guys? Grow up you slack jawed moron!!

ITS THE LAW!!!!!! Perhaps the real issue is your complete and total lack of anything resembling common sense! They canโ€™t take out of country identification as it COULD BE FAME!! But you donโ€™t care.

They COULD lose thier license to sell alcohol if they sold it to someone with a out of country ID. Then to add insult to injury, YOU try and backdoor the sale!! At what point do you people start acting like adults? At what point do you realize that the LAW is applied to EVERYONE INCLUDING YOU?

Just because YOU donโ€™t have to pay the fines doesnโ€™t mean they donโ€™t exist. It changes from state to state but the going rate is $1500 fine for the employee who breaks the law. $5000-$25000 for the store and up to $50000 for the company. Knowing that how can you whine?

Oh thatโ€™s right, youโ€™re a snowflake with kids. I fear the lessons you are teaching them. Itโ€™s not bad enough with YOU being a snowflake but now you are showing your children that the way YOU act in public is the correct way to respond. Would it have REALLY caused you harm to go get your ID?

No, it would t have. Thatโ€™s just you and each person who fought them about it being lazy pieces of fecal matter. You COULD have set your purchase aside and came back in with your ID. But you didnโ€™t.

Instead YOU showed your considerable asinine nature. Shame on you!!

I personally hope that YOU get to deal with a week of people who act just as you have at YOUR job. Maybe then You will take that stick and your head out of your poopchute.

All they are doing is acting like an child when they cannot get what they want or when they cannot get their way. I have had seen so many entitled customers being so mean and nasty too the most sweetest and nice employees and the managers where i worked at.

Retail sucks. While i was working an shift. I was asked too helping out the different departments and displays. While i was working behind some of the counters.

There was this customer. This customer was trying too return beer. This customer was of age. This was not the problem.

The problem was the price. This customer was lying and fabricating about the price of the beer. I am always double checking the prices and the sales and the deals. It was the price i was reading into the displays and coolers where we had the beer.

Remind you, i also double checked the receipt. It was showing and displaying the same price. I am going too add, that this customer started too get upset. While this customer is having an mean and nasty attitude.

I explained this too this customer about two or three times, while being asked about it. I am thinking how many times do i need too explain this. This customer try too do this too the other employees and managers. We found this out, after this customer did this.

This customer have too nerve too go from the front too back of where i am at. I am like, "Sir. You're are not allowed back here. This is for the employees and management." This customer said rude, "Screw You.

You're not doing your job. You need too serve your customers." This happen while throwing wine and beer bottles, destroying the cases from into the front of me from where i am standing. All of the other managers and employees, and customers including me were so shocked and appalled. We we trying too get this customer too leave the store.

This customer did not. We had too call the cops onto this customer. At this point, I am mad and angry. This customer could tell how mad and angry i am.

I said, (while screaming at this mean and nasty customer): "You're breaking it. You're buying it." This customer said rude, "Do you want someone too break your... arms and your...feet, and your...face." This customer continued said, "Yeah that's right, i'm calling you an...you're an.." I am able too take comments in and too take comment out. But when, i am feeling feed up, i am feeling up.

That means i am done. I am like too this mean and nasty customer, "You're going too get out of here. Or you're going too get the punched or the knocked out of you. And that's going too put you into an coma." This customer said, "With your...

and With your..." At this point, I am boiling. I am like no this customer did not try too go there.

I am like, "Goodbye. " "You're not served."
